Review Move Scenarios
After developing occupancy scenarios and layout scenarios for your move scenarios, you can compare your move scenarios to determine which move scenario you want to implement.
As part of the review process, you may also want to use the Plan Move Scenarios tab to export your floor layouts so that other staff can review.
Note: Before comparing move scenarios, verify that each move scenario has only one layout (inventory floor plan or layout scenario).
- In the Develop Move Scenario task or Move Console task, move to the Review Move Scenarios tab.
- Select up to three move scenarios to compare by choosing their checkboxes.
- In the report selector, choose the report that will summarize the data of these scenarios.
- Click Show.
- The system generates the report and displays it in a separate tab.
- You can continue selecting reports to display and each will display in its own tab. You can then move between the report tabs as necessary.
- After you compare the move scenarios and determine the best one to implement, you can update the move project's "To" locations with the locations of the employees and teams in the scenario. See Update Move Project.
Calculations
The report calculations come from roll-ups of room information and employee information.

inventory floor | RM table |
layout scenario floor | RM_TRIAL table |
Calculations can be run on the whole floor, whether it's an inventory floor or layout scenario, or calculations can be run only on that portion of the floor that is populated with an occupancy scenario. Both options are available for many of the metrics. In order to be able to calculate some of the metrics (such as Usable Area and R/U ratio) on partial floors where the layout scenario may not involve the entire floor, the calculations are made as a roll-up of room areas, not as a subtraction from the floor's internal gross area.
