Archibus and Serraview Integration
Deployment Components
The integration requires Archibus V.24.3 or later, and Serraview Version X.
The integration includes these components:
- Archibus connectors and workflow rules for both export and import.
- Archibus connector definitions, new table definitions, new field definitions, and new workflow rules.
- An Archibus-Serraview drawing converter, which is included as an executable in Smart Client Extension for AutoCAD V.24.3 and later.
- A Serraview link from an Archibus home page. See Add a Serraview Link to the Foundations Home Page.
- A view for validating Serraview imports. See Validate Serraview Imports
- An Archibus link from the Serraview landing page, included in a Serraview deployment.
- Serraview export and import routines, included in a Serraview deployment.
Note: The deployment supports an end-to-end, automated workflow for common use cases with standard data and database configurations, for all supported database types. Customer data may vary, however, so data may not initially appear as expected on the other platform. Consequently, a deployment includes setup services for user acceptance testing, and technical modifications to standard deployment files as needed.
Drawing Converter
The drawing converter handles both Archibus-to-Serraview and Serraview-to-Archibus drawing conversions.
- In Story 1, the connectors automatically upload the converted drawing files.
- In Story 2, the connectors do not automatically upload the converted drawing files.
Store drawing files where the drawing converter can retrieve them .
Similarly, store converted drawing files where import connectors can locate and process them.
For information on the Drawing Converter, see Preparing CAD Floor Plans for Serraview-Archibus Integration in Archibus User Help.
Note: To use the drawing converter, you must have an AutoCAD license.
