Validate Serraview Imports

When connectors import data from Serraview to Archibus (User Story 2), you have the opportunity to review problems in the staging tables and edit data if necessary. After reviewing and making changes, you can then mark the appropriate records for reprocessing.

To work with imported data stored in staging tables, run the Validate Serraview Imports view (ab-sv-validate-imp.axvw), which is available from these locations:

• System / SaaS Partner Administrator / Validate Serraview Imports
• System / System Administrator / Validate Serraview Imports

You can validate errors for the following Serraview tables:

• sv_imp_region
• sv_imp_building
• sv_imp_floor
• sv_imp_workpoint
• sv_imp_org_unit
• sv_imp_occupancy
• sv_imp_person

Procedure

1. Select the Validate Serraview Imports task from the above locations.
2. On the left, the view presents a list of imported data that has errors, such as "Building" or "Person", which you can select.
3. Select the data from the left column.
4. In the right column make your changes. This changes the status to Reprocess.
5. Click the button to run the workflow rule that runs connectors on those records.

Note: The Validate Serraview Imports task appears in the above locations once you run the /projects/users/public/dt/serraview-integration/add-validate-import-pnav.duw script that updates the database with this task.
