Working Offline When Offline Support is not Activated
Cached Offline Support (Offline Support is not Activated)
If you opt to not take advantage of OnSite's offline support, you experience cached offline support:

Any data retrieved from the server is cached until the app is uninstalled or switched to a different workspace URL

The searching action will query the real data when online. However, when there is no network:

if users have entered the same search string before, the cached searching results will show.

if the searched string is new, users will receive a message informing “no network” condition, then all cached data will show

The cached data will clear when uninstalling the app or switching to a different workspace URL.
You can turn off OnSite's offline support with the System / Archibus Administrator - Application Configuration / Configure Application Parameters task. Move to the Offline Support tab and set Offline Support to No. See Configure Offline Support.
Using Offline Support
You can activate OnSite's offline support features that enable technicians to access their work queue offline with minimal effort; they can complete their work the in same way as they do as when online. See
