View Zones on the Floor Plan

Healthcare facility managers may wish to divide floor plans into safety compartments or zones. For example, a floor might be divided into fire zones, or you might have electrical or smoke-related zones.

Typically, you will assign all types of rooms on a floor plan (vertical penetrations, hallways, service areas, and so on) to a zone. You can then select the Zones option from the Highlight menu to see your floor plan highlighted by zones.
