Updating Rejected Work Requests (Requestors)
If an approver rejects a request when it has the Requested status, the requestor will see the request in the Maintenance Console under the Rejected grouping. Requestors are able to update and resubmit these requests.
Note: You cannot update rejected requests when working from the Maintenance mobile app. To update rejected requests, you need to work from the Maintenance Console.
To update rejected work requests
- From the Maintenance Console, locate the request in the Rejected panel.

Click on the Work Request number. You move to the Work Request form.
- In the Additional Details/History panel, expand the History section to see the Approver's Comments. These comments let you know why the request was rejected, such as if information is missing or inaccurate.
- In the Overview tab, you can update the Description or Document fields to provide more information about your request.
Note: If you have additional fields to edit, you can submit a new request.
- Click Submit.
When you click the Submit button, the system advances the work request according to the SLA.
