Search for Equipment Standards
Use the Search for Equipment Standards, located on the ribbon, to search for assets of a particular equipment standard according to the equipment standard's associated family and category. Additionally, you can refine your search for particular attributes of an equipment standard.
Note: If you have not associated standards with BIM families, you can search for assets according to Equipment Standard by using the BIM Viewer's filter and completing the Equipment Standard field.
Use this command if you have associated your equipment standards with BIM asset families. See Add or Edit Asset Families and Classifying Assets for Use with BIM (Concept).
The Search for Equipment Standards command is located on the ribbon menu.
Procedure

Load the BIM Viewer.

Select the Search for Equipment Standards command, located on the ribbon.

In the resulting form, enter the following fields:
Field Description Category
Enter the asset category for which you want to see associated equipment standards. Family For the above asset category, enter the asset family for which you want to see associated equipment standards. Equipment Standard If you know the specific standard that is associated with the above family, you can enter it here. Otherwise, you can choose a standard from the list as described in step 4. Attribute 1,2,3, 4, 5, To refine your search, you can choose an attribute associated with the specified equipment standard. For information on equipment standard attributes, see Define Equipment Standards - Add Asset Attributes. -
The bottom of the form lists all the standards associated with the specified family. Choose a standard from the

The BIM Viewer highlights any assets assigned to the equipment standard (optionally, with attributes) that you selected in the form.
