How to Archive Old Revisions of Documents
Facility managers will want to periodically archive old revisions of documents to improve performance.
- Navigate to System / Archibus Administrator - Application Configuration / Documents.
- For your review, the tasks lists the Archibus Documents table.
- Choose the Archive button. In the resulting form, enter the table whose documents you want to archive and the date before which you want all document versions archived.
The action moves all inactive documents in the Archibus Documents Versions table to the Archibus Documents Versions Archive table.
An inactive document meets one of these conditions:
- It is associated with a record that is now deleted. (For example, it was associated with Lease 001 and this Lease record has been deleted.)
- It is not the most recent version and was changed earlier than the archive date you supplied.
- It has a Deleted? value of Yes. (The user deleted the document using the Delete Document button.)
