self-score
When preparing an application for environmental sustainability certification, you can self-assess your building against the certification criteria and record your scores as part of the rating project. For each credit and sub-credit, you enter your self-assessment value in the "self score" fields. You can then total your self-scores to determine if you are eligible for certification at a particular level.
You can also complete the self-score fields when mapping out what-if scenarios for strategic planning. For example, if you are trying to attain a higher level of certification, you can enter the values for reaching this level in the self-score fields and then analyze the costs and steps required to reach this level.
Compare, official score.
