For a particular building or portion of a building, the vehicle to manage the details of a green building assessment effort. There are a few ways to use rating projects:
- Establish a rating project and self-score your building's current condition against the requirements of a certification standard. This provides you with a baseline data point.
- When you are preparing for a certification and hope to achieve a certain level, evaluate your building by self-scoring against the target level. This enables you to assess your eligibility for being granted this level of certification and the financial cost of achieving this certification level.
- Once a certification process has been completed, store the official scores from the certifying organization so that these scores are available for a requalification process.
- Set up rating projects for what-if analyses. Enter self-scores and cost data for each scenario, and analyze the payback periods for implementing each scenario.
You can attach supporting documents to a rating project, and update the project's details as it moves through the certification process.
