Portfolio Forecast Wizard

The Real Property / Forecasting / Portfolio Forecasting / Portfolio Forecast Wizard enables you to develop and visualize the allocation event data for the Portfolio Forecasting application. These allocations are the basis of the scenarios you develop to evaluate alternatives for allocating space.

The wizard includes the following tabs:

Select Scenario. Select a scenario or create a new one. Scenarios describe alternative uses of space for a period of time given allocation needs at that time. See Select Scenario Tab
Space Gap. Visualize the allocations you have made on a time line, and compare to the available space for the same time period to evaluate the gap between the two. You can generate the chart for particular locations and time periods, or for all locations and time periods. See Space Gap Tab
Stack Chart: Visualize the allocated space across multiple floors, and graphically move groups from one floor to another. See Stack Chart Tab
Allocation Events: Review and allocate space for particular locations and time periods. Add and edit allocation events, add allocation events by splitting floors, and add unavailable space. Designating space as unavailable is useful when space is temporarily unavailable, as it would be during a renovation. Allocation Events Tab
