Archibus SaaS / Maintenance / Background Data - Labor
Develop Labor-Related Background Data
You may wish to incrementally develop your labor data. For example, get started with basic craftsperson and trade information, and then add in the craftsperson schedules.
Vendors
Often, you cannot resolve maintenance issues in house, but need to employ outside contractors. Enter the contractors your use in the Vendors table. See Entering Vendors.
Service Contracts
You can enter service contracts -- the document that details the agreement between the service provider and the organization. See Define Service Contracts.
Warranties
When entering your equipment, you can enter the warranties covering it. Knowing the warranty information can be an important for determining how you address an equipment maintenance issue. See Define Warranties.
Trades, work teams, craftspersons, and supervisors

Craftsperson schedules
In order to schedule labor, you need details about your craftsperson's regular hours, holidays, and so on. Use these tasks to set up the information you need for scheduling.
