Define and Edit Service Contracts
The Service Contract Manager can define and modify service
contracts -- the actual documents between the facility and the service provider and detail the particular relationship and responsibilities. Use the Service Contracts table (serv_con
) to electronically store the details of these paper documents.
The Define Service Contracts task presents two frames: the left frame shows all defined Service Contracts, while he right frame shows details on the selected contract or shows an empty form for adding a new service contract.
Complete the fields with information from the contract document:
Field | Description |

Service Contract Code | Uniquely identifies this record. |
Service Contract Vendor |
Enter the name of the vendor listed in the contract. This field is not validated by the Vendors table. |
Date Expires | Enter the expiration date, as listed in the contract. |
Description | Enter a summary of the contract. |
Service Contact | The phone number of the service provider. |
Graphic | If you have an image of the service contract document, you can enter it here. |
Document | You can upload the actual service contract documents. See Using the Document Management System. |
Linking SLAs to a Service Contract
When defining an SLA and setting response procedures, you can link all SLAs of a contract to that contract.
