available area

This is the building suite area that you own or lease, and that is available for your organization's use. That is, the suite is not leased or subleased to tenants. You can compare the amount of available area to the area you lease out to tenants. This is helpful when evaluating if you need to convert some of the leased out area to area your organization uses. The available area is calculated by taking the estimated area for buildings that you own, minus the areas that you lease or sublease to tenants, plus the areas in other buildings that you lease from a landlord.
