View Definition Wizard

An Archibus Web Central tool that walks you through the steps of defining rich-interface views in 2.0 format that are reports, summary reports, charts, and edit forms with search consoles.

The Wizard provides a tabbed interface to take you through the entire process of defining a view, from choosing the basic format, to selecting tables to include, to defining field visibility and other properties, and saving the view and placing it on the Navigator.

In addition to defining new views, you can use the View Definition Wizard to:

• edit 2.0 format views
• convert Archibus .Avw views (BasicScript views) to 2.0 format views
• convert pre-v16.3 Web views to 2.0 format
• convert 1.0 format views to 2.0 format views

You can access the View Definition Wizard from the System section of the Navigator.
