rich-interface view
Archibus views that use interactive Web technologies to deliver a richly interactive interface.
Rich-interface views use technologies such as AJAX and direct-Web remoting to update portions of the screen to give a quick and immediate response. This is distinct from the previous style of “page-based” Web interaction that replaced the entire page with every mouse click or request.
Rich-interface view files have the file extension .axvw, and can be written from scratch using XML, created using Web Central’s View Definition Wizard, or converted from .Avw view files (Windows view files) using Web Central's View Definition Wizard.
Archibus has two styles of rich-interface views: 1.0 view format and 2.0 view format.
