What is Archibus?
Archibus Foundations
In the Archibus SaaS product, Archibus Foundations is an entry-level grouping of the most common facility tasks. Sites start managing facilities with the tasks of Archibus Foundations, and then can add modules that support more advanced features. For example, Archibus Foundations supports on-demand maintenance work so that you can manage and respond to maintenance problems on site; once you implement the on demand system available withe Archibus Foundations, you can add on the Maintenance module to add such features as preventive maintenance, craftsperson scheduling, and advanced cost tracking to your maintenance management system.
As an all-in-one, entry-level package for managing space and maintenance requests, Archibus Foundations is ideal for:
- organizations with less than ~ 250,000 SF or 25,000 SM
- organizations with less than ~ 1,000 employees
- organizations know they need something better than Excel, Email or maybe a Sharepoint Server to manage their facilities
From mobile devices or kiosks, self-service employees and building guests can look up key facility information and request space and moves; Foundations managers then use forms, consoles, and reports to manage these requests and maintain basic space and employee data.
Archibus Foundations includes these major components:

Enhanced maps views are ideal for campus-scale visualization and analysis, as well as for depicting extensive areas such as parcels, regions, and countries.
