How to Transfer Document Data Between Projects

To migrate document data between projects, run the Database Update Wizard.

The Transfer Out function extracts both the table data and the documents out of the old database. The Transfer In function inserts both data and documents into the target database. Clearly, with large document vaults, this can take some time.

As such, if you have a large vault, you may prefer instead to migrate other schema changes into your project database rather than migrate your project data into the database with the newer schema.
