Waste Disposition Reports
How you ultimately dispose of your hazardous waste is a critical aspect of your waste management program. The regulatory agencies you work with regulate both how you ship or discharge waste and would typically require documentation to demonstrate that you have followed their requirements. For example, in the United States, both the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) require documentation on the shipment of hazardous waste.
Similarly, for non-hazardous wastes, many sites wish to document how much of their waste is treated, how much of it is recycled, and so forth, so that they have specific data supporting their goals of recycling and good corporate citizenship. You can use the disposition reports to report on data for your waste management initiatives.
The following Disposition reports enable you to document how you have disposed of your waste and to report on waste by its disposition.

The dates used to calculate if a shipment or discharge is recent are the Date Start if the Disposition Type is Discharge, and the Date Shipped if the Disposition Type is Shipment. Your Business Process Owner sets the number of days from these dates used to determine if waste is recently shipped or discharged. This is done by entering a values in the rec_ship_dis_days application parameter. This value determines whether or not a waste record is shown in this report.
