restricted view

A view that only includes data that meets criteria specified by an active restriction condition. You can enter a restriction in a Filter console, or when working on grid views in the Smart Client you can create restrictions using the Filter command. For example, a view may be restricted to include only rooms whose areas are greater than 500 square feet.
