Archibus Web Central Server program
A product for working with facilities information over the Internet or your company Intranet. With Archibus Web Central, all infrastructure data is stored in a centralized repository and authorized users from anywhere in the world can enter, edit, and monitor this data. The Archibus Web Central Server program works communicates with the Web application server using Web Services.
Web Central is available in Archibus SaaS, as well as deployments of the non-SaaS Archibus software.
The Archibus Web Central server program is the "core" on top of which facility management business applications (such as Space Inventory) and SaaS modules (such as Space) run.
Authorized users accessing and updating FM data use a site-specific interface, which is based on their organization’s business processes and the roles within the organization. When users log on, they access only the information relevant to their specific role within the organization.
With Archibus Web Central and its applications and SaaS modules you can do such things as:
- Remotely update and enter real property, lease, asset, and occupancy data.
- Remotely access reports summarizing department occupancy, maintenance costs, and space use.
- Provide managers with proactive self-service tools for claiming and releasing space, and moving, adding, or changing employees.
- Provide employees with self-service access for room reservations, parking passes, security passes, and work requests.
Archibus Web Central is J2EE-compliant and delivers all functionality through a "thin-client" browser interface.
