occupancy count
A count of the number of occupants assigned to a room as of a certain date or a date range. The Update Area Totals task gathers the occupancy count from Workspace Transaction records and then stores it in the Occupancy Count field of the Rooms table. It can be rolled up to floor, building, site, room category, or room type.
Once you supply a specific date or date range, the Update Area Totals task calculates occupancy count real-time by summing the number of employees for a given location in the Workspace Transaction records, where the records are “current” for the date/date range and have an approved status.
