bid (Projects application)

In the Projects application, a bid is a vendor's offer for completion of a work package. Vendors can bid on work packages through the vendor tasks in the Projects application. Alternatively, they can submit bids by phone or fax. In this case, the employer can enter the bid information. All work package bids are reviewed. When a work package bid is approved, the employer sets up a contract with the vendor.
