Managing Event Notification for Contract Terms and Requirements
Note: You can generate events for both contract terms and compliance program requirements. The information in this topic applies to events for both contract terms and requirements.
Notifications to stakeholders can be a critical feature for managing your compliance efforts. The Manage Compliance Event Notification task enables you to manage notifications for any event.
From the Manage Compliance Event Notification task, you can:
- Edit notifications for events that are active (that is, the Event Status is Scheduled, In Progress, In Process - On Hold, Canceled, or Stopped).
- View details for scheduled events and their associated notifications for events that are not active (that is, they are Completed, Completed - Verified, or Closed).
Using the Filter Console for Compliance Event Notifications
The Filter console includes multiple restriction criteria to facilitate locating the notifications you want to manage. You select criteria and click Show; the Select Compliance Notifications pane shows only the notifications matching the criteria you enter.
When using the Filter console for Compliance Event Notification, note the following:
- Recipient Email and Event Titles: When you enter these criteria, the restriction looks for Recipient Email addresses and Event Titles that have your entry anywhere in their value.
- Responsible Person: The restriction looks for events that have the Responsible Person entered for them.
- Date Scheduled From: The restriction shows events that have a Date Scheduled Start that is after the Date Scheduled From you enter.
After applying a filter, you might want to hide the Filter console so you can better examine the event records. To hide the filter, click the dotted section of the splitter. See Working with a View's Panels.
