Comparing Portfolio Scenarios
If your project is linked to a Portfolio Scenario, from the Portfolio Scenario Comparison tab, you can access the Portfolio Scenario Comparison report. This report enables space planners and others to compare the various portfolio scenarios they created.
Key items for comparison include:
- Full Gap Analysis, which includes space available, space allocated, and allocated % over time.
- Scenario areas over time
- Associated Space Requirement Costs and Headcounts
The questions that this report helps space planners answer include:
- How does the allocation % of different scenarios compare? Do some scenarios give more room to grow than others? Will implementing some scenarios run up against growth constraints too soon?
- How do the details of space use compare across scenarios? Are there some scenarios that have more owned vs. leased space? Are there differences in actual department areas over time? What are those differences and why?
- How do costs across different scenarios compare? Are some considerably more expensive than others and why? How do planned headcounts vary?
When generating the report, you can select up to two scenarios to compare, and can generate the report to show:
- Gap analysis
- Areas
- Requirements costs and headcounts.
Print to PPT. You can print the charts for the selected scenarios to a PowerPoint presentation by clicking Print to PDF.
