Renaming your Revit Model

Archibus has you rename your drawing before the Extension allows you to use any of the Archibus commands, as Archibus places the model file name in the database. If you ever rename your Revit model, update these file names. To do so:

1. Edit the Archibus Drawings table entries for the Revit levels to reflect the new model name.
2. Recatalog the entities in your model to update the Drawing Name field of the elements in the drawing within the Archibus database.

Note: You need to use the same procedure if you rename a level within the Revit model.
