What's New in Archibus V.26.2?
SaaS Delivery
In Archibus V.26.1, a licensing change expanded the Archibus-hosted SaaS delivery of Archibus (Archibus SaaS) to offer most functionality that is offered with the Archibus non-SaaS delivery (that is the partner-hosted or on-premise delivery).
In Archibus V.26.2, we continue this work by updating the Navigator to reflect the licensing change.
This change moves toward the goal of one Archibus offering with two delivery methods (SaaS or non-SaaS), rather than our previous model of two products:
-
Archibus SaaS (Archibus-hosted) with a limited set of modules
-
Archibus (partner hosted or on premise) with the full set of domains and applications
Archibus SaaS
With Archibus SaaS, you receive automatic quarterly updates to latest release version.
For Archibus V.26.2, Archibus SaaS now supports:
-
Developer Portal (for personalization)
-
Archibus Essentials (original set of SaaS modules)
-
almost all of Archibus business applications. Only a few of the less-frequently used applications are not offered in Archibus SaaS.
The following table summarizes the Archibus SaaS offering:

Navigator
The Navigator has been updated for Archibus SaaS.
The below image shows the Navigator for sample user AFM-MOD, showing the Archibus Essentials and Real Property entries. Note that modules are a mix of domains and applications. When all modules are enabled, the Navigator shows them on either first or second level, as shown below. For example, Maintenance is a module shown on the second level, under Archibus Essentials, and Real Property is a module shown on the first level.
When a subset of modules (fewer than nine) are enabled, the Navigator shows them all on the first level; that is, the Navigator starts with the application level and omits the domain level. For example, the below image shows a user with the Archibus Essentials grouping, plus Compliance. The Navigator omits the domain level (Archibus Essentials). Often, a user does not have more than nine modules and their Navigator appears as below, omitting the domain level.
