Search and Book Desks with Amenities (UserVoice Idea)

Employees booking working spaces may wish to book desks with specific amenities, such as sit-stand desks, docking stations, and monitors. Having these amenities at their booked desk might be important to how effectively the employee can work in this space.

First, a facility manager must define the amenities that are available for each room using the Workplace Services / Hoteling / Background Data / Define Fixed Resources task.

When an employee searches for desks in a building, they can select from the list of amenities existing in the selected building (as shown below). The search results will return those rooms that are available for the specified date and also offer the specified amenities.

Note: This feature is available in Workplace, but has not yet been added to the Create Booking task or the booking features of the Workplace Services mobile app.

Note: All the amenities defined for the rooms on the selected floor are displayed, regardless of whether the rooms to which the amenities belong are hotelable.
