What's New in Archibus V.26.2?
Other Workplace Changes
Other Workplace changes include:
Accessibility
We have continued the accessibility improvements started in V.26.1 so that Workplace meets the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.1 A and AA requirements. With an accessibility-compliant Workplace interface, you can roll out Workplace to all employees with confidence.
To use Workplace in accessibility mode, set the AccessibilityMode
application parameter.
V.26.2 accessibility changes include:
-
Complex images provide sufficient descriptions.
-
Color is not the sole means of communicating information.
-
Custom controls are keyboard accessible.
-
Alternative text is provided for images.
-
Improved behavior for moving slider with the keyboard.
-
Improvements to indicate live regions for dynamically-changing content.
-
Fixes for situations where interactive functionality was not operable with the keyboard.
Show Conference Room Names
When you are reserving meeting space rooms in Workplace, you can now see the room's name on the floor plan. Rooms that are marked as reservable (set with the Reservations / Background Data / Define Reservable Rooms task) show the room name on the floor plan.
If you wish to change the format of the labels, edit the WORKPLACE - ROOM NAMES record in the Active Plan Types table.

Locate Booked Desks and Booked Meeting Rooms (UserVoice Idea)
When Workplace users consult their booking details or meeting room reservation details, they might want to see the desk or meeting room on the floor plan so that they know how to get there.
The Meeting Reservation Details and Workspace Details screens now have a Locate icon, which opens a simple popup showing the floor plan with the booked meeting room or desk highlighted in blue.
