What's New in Archibus V.26.1?
Framework and Platform
Archibus V.26.1 also make the following changes to the operation of Web Central. System requirements have also changed.
Web Central Framework Changes (UserVoice Idea)
The following changes to the Web Central framework all originate from ideas that customers have submitted through the UserVoice platform.
Drag and drop document
You can now check in a document to a document field by dragging it from File Explorer. Dropping the file immediately checks the file into Archibus with the original file name. We plan to enhance this feature in Archibus V.26.2.
Selected tree node UX update
We have updated the highlight of a selected item on a tree panel so that the selection is more clearly visible, as shown in the "Simple Tree" sample view in the above image.
Drawing Toolbar
Customers commented that on a busy drawing it was sometimes hard to see the drawing's toolbar housing the zoom, pan, and other commands. We have updated the toolbar with brighter and larger icons that are clearly visible when the drawing toolbar overlays drawing content.
Database Update Wizard: Validate Schema
To prevent problems when updating or exporting you schema, you can now check the current schema for issues that violate schema best practices. From the Database Update Wizard, run the Validate Schema command. The command finds any violations of "best practices" and lists the issues in a log file so you can address them before updating or exporting your schema.
