What's New in Archibus V.26.1?

Cost Tracking in Leases SaaS Module

The Leases module has been expanded to support detailed cost reporting. Because both tenants and landlords need a financial picture of their leases, the lease cost system provides the Amount-Expense and Amount-Income fields. This enables the system to be used by tenants, landlords, and companies that own the buildings they occupy.

Issue

As a Lease Administrator using the Archibus SaaS Leases module, I want to enter actual costs, report on them, and see a cash flow projection. Currently, I can record only recurring costs, such as base rents and estimated utility bills. I do not have access to cost and cash flow reports.

Solution

The Leases module now supports detailed track costing. In addition to entering your recurring costs, such as base rents or estimated utility bills, you can now enter and manage costs using the Cost Wizard. With the Cost Wizard, you can:

• track detailed one-time costs

• convert your recurring costs to individual costs and enter the exact amounts

• experiment with the cost amounts in your cost records and forecast how anticipated changes will affect your cash flow

• enter dates paid and dates due

With your detailed costs in place, you can now analyze your finances using the following reports, which have been added to the module:

• Costs

• Cash Flow

• VAT Amount Balance

• Straight-Line Rent

• Lease CAM Reconciliation Report

• CAM Cash Flow
