Develop Background Validating Data for Reservations
Before using the Reservations module, you must enter background data about the facility, including geographical, space, and organizational background data tables, as well as configurations for reservable rooms.
Background data
If you are an existing Archibus user with licenses for other modules, you probably have already developed much of this data.

Room information
Define your reservable rooms and set up your room arrangements. For information on defining rooms that be reserved as working space (hotelable rooms) or meeting space, see Set up the Reservations Module.

Resources
Define resources that can be reserved for meeting spaces and working spaces.

When reserving meeting spaces, you can search for meeting rooms based on their associated resources.

When booking a working spaces with Create Booking or the Workplace self-service portal, you can check if unlimited resources are available for a selected room.

When booking a working spaces with the Workplace self-service portal, you can check if fixed resources, such as a sit-stand desk, are available for a selected room. This feature is not available for the Create Booking task.
