standard role

A table in the standard role provides additional information to the main table in a table-group. The main table in a table-group can have several tables in the standard role, each supplementing a different field of the main table. For example, Rooms is the main table in the Rooms table-group. The Room Standards table can play the standard role and provide supplementary information about the Room Standard field; the Buildings table can play the standard role and provide supplementary information about the Building Code field; the Departments table can supplement the Department Code field.
