Prorate field

A field in the Groups and Rooms tables that determines if and how common areas will be shared among the departments using them. The Prorate field determines how the chargeback system divides the cost of common areas among the departments using the area. The following values are available:

• NONE -- Area will not be split among departments. Use this value for areas that are not common and are used by multiple departments. For example, assign NONE to offices and labs of a specific department.
• FLOOR -- Area will be charged back to departments on a floor. For example, a kitchen or conference rooms may be used by all departments on the floor.
• BUILDING -- Area will be charged back to departments in a building. For example, a lobby may be charged to all departments in the building.
• SITE -- Area will be charged back to departments across a site.
