Selecting Leases for the Lease Portfolio Dashboard

The Lease Portfolio Dashboard and the Lease Details report tasks include a selection list that enables you to select the lease for which you want to view information. The selection list shows both active and inactive leases. The selection list provides several ways to easily locate leases.

Note: Leases appear in the list only if you have entered the Country, State, and City Codes for the portfolio item with which the lease is associated.

From the selection list, you can:

When you select a lease, you can generate a paginated report for the lease. From the Lease Portfolio Dashboard, you can view or edit general lease information and lease details.

Procedure

  1. Select Lease Portfolio Dashboard. Or, you can select the Lease Details report.

Select an item by location

  1. From the selection list, drill down by location to the portfolio item that has the lease you want to work with.
  2. Click the + sign to expand the portfolio item, and select the lease.

    The Lease Information section shows data for the lease. By default, the Base Rents tab in the Manage Lease Base Rents panel shows recurring cost data for the selected lease. Click any tab to see additional lease data.

Search for a specific lease

  1. Click Search.
  2. Enter the Lease Code in the pop-up window that appears, and click Search.

    The selection list includes only the lease having the Lease Code you enter. Expand the items and select the lease to view information for it.

Filter the list to more easily locate a lease

  1. Select the Filter icon at the top of the selection list.

    The Select Filter pop-up window appears.

  2. Select the types of portfolio items for which you want to view leases, and select whether you want to view only active leases, only inactive leases, or both.
  3. Click Apply.

    The Selection list now includes only the portfolio items and leases meeting the restrictions you selected.

  4. To clear the filter, select Show All.

    The selection list now includes all portfolio items and both active and inactive leases for the portfolio items.

Find a lease for which there is an alert in the Alerts section of the dashboard.

  1. In the Alerts section, click the Filter button in the row for the alert.

    The selection list contracts and includes only the location for the selected lease.

  2. Expand the selection list to show the lease.
  3. Select the lease to see its information in the dashboard.
