Using OnSIte When Offline

OnSite provides cached offline support:

• Any data retrieved from the server is cached until the app is uninstalled or switched to a different workspace URL

• The searching action will query the real data when online. However, when there is no network:

  • if users have entered the same search string before, the cached searching results will show.

  • if the searched string is new, users will receive a message informing “no network” condition, then all cached data will show

• The cached data will clear when uninstalling the app or switching to a different workspace URL.
