fixed resource (room amenity)

For both reservable meeting rooms and hotelable rooms, you can define fixed resources for items that exist in the room.

A fixed resource is any resource that will always be available with a room or room arrangement. For example: if a meeting room has a built- in projector, then you can define this projector as a fixed resource for the room's room arrangements. Then, when you are searching for meeting rooms, you can search for rooms that have a projector and this room will show up. Likewise, a working space might have a standing desk, and in Workplace you can search for working spaces with this resource.

Fixed resources are also referred to as "amenities." The Reservations Calendar Console, Workplace, and the Workplace Services Portal mobile app include options for searching for conference rooms by amenities; Workplace also supports searching for hotelable rooms by amenities.
