Archibus Extensions for BUILDERTM SMS
Data Transfer Cases
Data transfer cases account for all data transfers possible between BUILDER™ SMS and Archibus tables. Because a single transfer may affect multiple data tables, multiple connectors may handle a case. Starting from the classification hierarchy in each platform, we can identify seven cases. Since six of the seven cases are bi-directional, there are thirteen uni-directional cases in all.
The table below summarizes these data transfer cases, to correspond with seven levels in BUILDER™ SMS and Archibus asset hierarchies:
