standard

A category of items. Items assigned to a standard category are associated with the properties defined by the standard. Archibus uses standards to define many types of items. For example, room standards define the different types of rooms in a facility, including the number of occupants, the dimensions, and the area; furniture standards define the different categories of furniture and each furniture type's price, manufacturer, product line, drawing block, and dimensions. Standards can help you track, manage, and update your inventories. See also standard role.
