Archibus Mobile Framework
The set of tools on which the Archibus mobile client and Archibus mobile apps run. The framework provides synchronization features that hide all of the complex details of synchronizing data between Web Central and your mobile devices and of working off-line in a semi-connected mode.
The Archibus Mobile Framework provides a wide range of features that Business Partners and customers can use to personalize the Archibus mobile apps, as well as to create their own apps.
The Archibus Mobile Framework uses common SASS files for the CSS that is shared between mobile apps. It contains form field classes that extend the functionality of the Sencha Touch form fields. In most cases, the Archibus classes should be used in place of the Sencha Touch framework fields.
Some of the features that the Archibus Mobile Framework supports are:
- SVG. The mobile apps can display floor plans that you publish to SVG. In the mobile apps, you can add highlights, labels, events, and actions to the SVGs to provide the interactivity your applications need to display and edit information intuitively.
- documents and images. You can transfer documents, such as equipment manuals, as well as images, such as photographs of building conditions.
- workflow. The framework can call all of the existing Archibus business logic and workflows.
- bar code scanning
- redlining
- mobile logging
- saving filters, search histories, and sort preferences that the apps restore on load
- list of recent filters for selection
- encryption of all data stored on mobile devices with 256-bit AES encryption
- SAML authentication support
- GIS markers
- wayfinding
