Equipment Table: Field Reference
This topic documents all the Equipment table fields. A few of these fields are used by the Archibus Client / Server applications and are not used in the Web Central applications. When a field is not currently used, this is noted in the Purpose column.

The values are "Yes" and "Use Std" (Use Standard). When this field is set to "Use Sd", the system consults the equipment item's standard to see if the standard is multiplexing. The equipment item inherits its multiplexing status from its standard. |

The MAC address, also called physical address, is the media access control address. It is typically assigned to the device by the manufacturer, and is a unique network address for a device. This field is brought into Archibus using the connector import files used by the Reconcile Enterprise Data task of the Enterprise Assets application. If assigned by the manufacturer, a MAC address usually encodes the manufacturer's registered identification number and may be referred to as the burned-in address (BIA). It may also be known as an Ethernet hardware address (EHA), hardware address or physical address. |
