Material Locations List

The Material Locations List report is useful when you need to know everywhere you have a particular product. For example there might be a recall notice on a product and you would need to be able to physically locate all containers in your facility.

To provide quick access to products of interest, the Material Locations List report has a filter. Enter the desired parameters and click Show to display the results in the Material Locations grid . You can further sort and filter using the integrated Smart Search console in the Material Locations grid.

1. Select the Material Locations List task.
2. Complete the filter with the desired manufacturer, distributor, and so on.
3. Click Show in the Filter, and the system presents the list of materials meeting this restriction. Notice that if there are no values for certain fields (such as the subroom location fields or Equipment Code), the system hides these fields. If you change the filter to include records that have values for these fields, the view will again show these fields.
4. To see all the details of a particular material, click on it and the system presents a pop-up form listing all of the details about this instance of the material.

For example, in the below image the report hides the subroom and location fields because this information was not recoded for the Benzene product, on which the view is filtered. The user has right clicked on a particular instance of Benzene in room B1-B36STO to review the details for this item.
