Comparing Hoteling and Meeting Space Reservations

Both the Archibus Hoteling and Reservations features enable departments to occupy and use rooms on a temporary basis. However, they differ as noted below:

	Hoteling (Working Spaces / Bookings)	Reservations (Meeting Spaces)
Time Frame	Temporary assignment, down to the half-day of use. Supports recurring pattern.	Temporary assignment, down to the minute. Supports recurring pattern.
Type of Space	Working space Typically, office space that is managed in a uniform way and does not require special set-up procedures or additional resources.	Meeting space. Typically, tends to be more expensive, requires special set-up procedures, and can be managed with a variety of resources and work requests.
How Cost is Charged	Costs of space are prorated and charged back to the department that booked the space using the same chargeback procedures as  Space Chargeback.
