active (portfolio item)
This term is used to describe current leases, and building and property (structure or land) that are owned or currently leased.
- If a building or property is leased, it is considered active if its lease is active.
- A lease is active if it is signed (Lease Signed? = Yes), and the lease Date Start is before or equal to the current date. Leases are not required to have a Date End to be considered active. However, if the lease has a Date End, it must be after or equal to the current date for the lease to be active.
- Buildings or property that are owned (indicated by the Transaction Status being set to 'Owned') are also considered active.
From some tasks, such as Manage Buildings, Land, and Structures by Location, you work with only active portfolio items.
