safety program
A safety program is a set of policies and work practices specifically designed by your company for your company. It addresses regulations (such as regulations required by OSHA in the U.S.) and ways to reduce the exposure to hazards at your site's work areas. An effective safety program is designed around the standard work processes and tasks normally assigned to employees and integrates safety and health related decisions and precautions into these practices.
A safety program identifies the various types of work performed at a site, and for each type of work, the safety program can document the required training, personal protection equipment (PPE), and medical examinations.
