Synchronizing Users and Employees

If you are entering new data in the Archibus Users table, you can update the Employees table with the updated user data.

Batch Creation of User Identities

If you have an employee list, whether created in Archibus or imported from your Human Resources department, you can create user accounts for each user automatically. Select  Archibus Administrator - Users and Security / Create User Identities from Employees.

Synchronizing User Identities

The program links the IT identity (the user name) with the employee identity (usually the employee name plus their employee number) by their email address. If you need to update these email addresses, either directly in Archibus or through a batch import, use the "Synchronize User Identities" view to propagate the changes so as to preserve the link. Select Archibus Administrator - Users and Security / Synchronize User Identities
