OSHA Accident Report, Form 301
If your company is governed by regulations from the U.S Department of Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA), you will need to file the OSHA Accident Report (Form 301) when injuries and illnesses occur at your site. The information that you complete in Archibus for a workplace incident covers all the information required by the OSHA Accident Report Form 301. Therefore, you can generate the OSHA report directly from your Archibus data. The Archibus system will complete the various fields of OSHA Accident Report (Form 301) with the data from your workplace incident.
The feature for generating the OSHA Accident Report is available with several tasks, including these tasks:
- Operational Reports / Recent Incidents
- Operational Reports / Incidents by Type
- Operational Reports / Incidents by Location
- Operational Reports / Incident Service Requests
- Management Report / Incident Map
- Management Report / Incident Count
- Management Report / Incident Log
To generate the OSHA Accident Report:
- Run one of the above tasks.
- Drill down through to the task and select the incident for which you want to generate the accident report.
- The system displays the incident in the Incident Details form.
- On the Incident Details form, choose the OSHA Accident Report button.
- The system presents a message that it is running a job to generate the report and lists a link to the generated PDF in the form.
- Click on the PDF to open it.
- Save the PDF to your desired location. You may now submit this PDF to OSHA.
