table-driven data
Information in an asset that does not depend on an asset symbol in a drawing for its value. Data such as entity handle, drawing layer, drawing name, and area and length information is not table-driven data because it depends on asset symbols in a drawing. Table-driven data is generated by editing a table or running a calculation; however, some table-driven data, such as standard and organizational information, can also be completed by deriving data from an asset symbol in a drawing (by inferring or copying). Since such information does not depend on the asset symbol, it is still table-driven data. See also table-driven field. Compare drawing-driven data.
