georeference

Georeferencing is the process of establishing geographic coordinates for an object that has none by rotating, scaling, and/or moving that object to align with its position on a map that has known geographic coordinates. Using Archibus, you can georeference an AutoCAD drawing or Revit model using a campus map or survey plan, or can use ArcGIS for AutoCAD. After the Georeference process is complete, you can publish GIS Enterprise Graphics. To use the GIS publishing features, your site must purchase a separate license for the Archibus Geospatial Extensions for Esri.
