Filtering by Records Having a Selected Value
The Archibus grid window supports Microsoft Access-style "Filter by Selection" functionality. You can restrict the grid to show only records that have the same value as a particular cell. To do so:
- Select the cell that has the value you want to filter by.
- Run the Filter/by Selection command from the Ribbon.
For example, to find all rooms numbered "101" in the Rooms table, select 101 in the Room Code column of the grid and run the command.
Note: The Filter icon menu presents another way of showing records that have a specific value for a field. Using the Filter/by Selection command, you locate the value in the grid and select it. Using the Filter icon, you select from a list of all values for the field in the current view.
